Ammonium sulfate fertilizer (ammonium sulfate) is mostly exported to Southeast Asia, among others. Some of it is sold domestically for agricultural and industrial uses.

Ammonium sulfate is used as a raw material for mixed and compound fertilizer. For its industrial usages, it is used in the artificial-silk and cellophane industries, for manufacturing ammonia compounds/various ammonium salts/potash alum/gypsum boards/light bulbs/synthetic resins/medicines, for culturing enzymes, and for leather tanning.
